Most kids adore soft, feathery candy floss and if you insert a glow stick in each, voila! They get glowing candyfloss! But yes you should ideally not serve it to very small kids who might think the glow stick is edible.

A very creative idea is to display a collection of different clocks at a “hard to miss spot” in the room where you are partying. Better, set the alarm for midnight and wait for the fun 🙂

Lights are very important…we think when effectively used, they can create magic! For instance if you frame a large mirror with string lights as shown below, the look will be enchanting. Candles are great too, see what we have: http://tinyurl.com/uberlyfe-tlight

Balloons never go out of fashion. Create some quirky decor with them. Hang snapshots of the best moments from the last year from a bunch of balloons. Or use golden paint or glitter to customize funky messages on dark colored ones!

If you have a bit of glitter or some shiny paint, you can add zing to everyday stuff and make them eye catching. Like the stems of these wine glasses were painted in fun colors and the blue crystal like adornment around the rim of the glasses is colored sugar!glass

To stand out from the crowd, paint shiny numbers on the drinks glasses…10, 9, 8,7…just like a countdown! Use cool, glittering stirrers to add some spice. You can make your own too with some cardboard, glue and glitter.

Lay out a beautiful table for your hungry guests…i have always noticed that using contrasting colors create a more interesting look. And it increases the visual appeal of the food, don’t you think?

Customize the food…and you won’t believe the number of compliments you will get! Cookies that resemble clocks or champagne glasses will be hard to resist. If you are serving cupcakes, make clock cutouts from stiff paper and stick them on the top!
